Brandon Swope was one of the top pitchers in the conference, finishing 2nd in ERA. He also led the conference in least hits and runs allowed.

Donations Received Total Number of Donors Tiffin University Counseling and Wellness provides mental health services to students free of charge. We are in the same building as the Health Center, which allows us to network and support students in both mental health and physical health. We are able to provide individual counseling sessions, group counseling, consultation with faculty and staff, team building, and psychoeducation. Counseling and Wellness also provides outreach to the campus community through educational presentations and activities. Currently, we have two full-time clinicians, a master-level intern, and a therapy dog in training on staff.

Donations Received Total Number of Donors Dr. George Kidd Jr., Tiffin University’s third president (1981–2002), is widely regarded as the founder of modern Tiffin University. Under his leadership, TU experienced a period of transformational growth. Enrollment increased from 325 to 1,600 students, and the campus expanded significantly with the creation of the Gillmor Student Center, Hanson Physical Fitness Center, various residence halls and the Paradiso Athletic Fields. Dr. Kidd was instrumental in securing national accreditation through the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, launching the University’s first graduate program (the MBA), expanding co-curricular opportunities and adding 12 athletic teams. His vision and leadership continue to shape TU’s legacy today. To honor his legacy at the University, the Dr. George Kidd Jr. Presidential Initiatives Endowment has been established to provide an annual fund to support innovation, creativity, transformation, growth, and/or entrepreneurial initiatives led by Tiffin University's president. Drone Academy

Donations Received Total Number of Donors Tiffin University has announced the opening of its Drone Academy in response to the growing and expanding drone industry. The Academy has become a place of learning, research and achievement for the advancement of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), commonly referred to as drones. Featuring academic classes, training seminars, community outreach programs, certification opportunities and recreational activities like Community Fly Days, the Drone Academy provides theoretical and applied learning for the technological and operational aspects of the industry. The Academy has been designated to participate in the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Collegiate Training Initiative (UAS-CTI) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and allows the Academy and University to collaborate with the FAA, in order to provide aid to students pursuing a career in drone aviation. The designation also provides the opportunity to partner with industry professionals, local government officials, members of law enforcement and other organizations to provide enrolled students with the industry-skills needed to ensure success. The University also has plans to establish a minor in UAS that will be available to all undergraduate seated students, regardless of their major. The minor will introduce UAS technology to students that can be utilized in many different professions. There will also be a new concentration in UAS for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree that will offer students the ability to explore various UAS platforms and be able to master the concepts of programming for UAS Technologies. Both the minor and concentration will introduce students to hands on drone flights in class as well as the knowledge to pass their Part 107 Remote Pilot License by the FAA. Students also will gain knowledge in python programming as well as advanced UAS flight platforms. Finally, students are taught the basics of videography and photography using drones. Through the Drone Academy students can join the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) through the Tiffin University AMA University Model Aviation Student (UMASC) Chapter (in many cases at no charge to the student). This opportunity provides extensive resources, scholarships, grants and insurance for the students in Drone Academy.

First Generation Dragons

Donations Received: Total Number of Donors: Definition of a first-generation college student: “While the definition can be complicated, being a first-gen student means that your parents did not complete a four-year college or university degree. Even if your parents took a few college classes or even completed a two-year degree, you are still considered first-gen. You are also considered first-gen if your older siblings went to college but your parents did not” (NASPA 2022). First-Generation Dragons seeks to support students who are the first in their families to go to college through building connections, establishing relationships, and instilling confidence. Research has shown that first-generation college students are more likely to face financial barriers and hardships. This scholarship aims to assist a high-achieving, first-generation college student who has inevitable financial need. Donating to this scholarship shows your commitment to retaining at-risk students who are breaking barriers and paving new paths in their families.

Donations Received Total Number of Donors The Dragons finished near the top in the Great Midwest standings in 2025, going 7-4 overall with only three narrow losses by a combined 12 points coming between TU and an undefeated conference schedule. Tiffin's offense was tops in the conference for the second consecutive season, averaging 31.5 points per game, including 45 touchdowns during the regular season. The Dragons' high-powered offense was led by quarterback Alex Johnson as well as the conference’s top rusher Ronald Blackman. Johnson led the league in passing with a 164.9 efficiency rating. Blackman averaged 82 yards per contest. The Dragons' defense was also among the best in the conference, led by the conference’s top tackler Jacob Tueimeh. Tueimeh and the Dragons limited opponents to just 20.3 points per game during the regular season.

He held roles such as Registrar, Acting Dean, Senior Lecturer in Accounting, Vice President for Administration and upon retiring was the Director of Career Services at TU. His leadership and commitment to service were felt in every corner of the community. As a lifelong member of Phi Theta Pi International Business Fraternity, he guided the local chapter for 24 years, shaping the next generation of leaders. Your gift will ensure his spirit lives on by supporting business majors and/or Phi Theta Pi members. Whether you're a Phi brother or someone who admired George's life of service, this is your chance to give back in his memory. Together we can honor George's legacy and empower future generations. A little more about George Dupey - George graduated from Jackson Twp. High School in Hoytville in 1952. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Tiffin University in 1957 and his Master's Degree from the University of Dayton in 1981. George retired from Tiffin University where he was employed for 39 years and held various positions including Registrar, Acting Dean, Senior Lecturer in Accounting, Vice President for Administration and upon retiring was the Director of Career Services. George was also employed part-time at the Tiffin Seneca Public Library from 1968 until 2006 as the Clerk/Treasurer and was also the Treasurer of the Tiffin-Seneca Library Foundation. George was a member, Past President and past Secretary/Treasurer of the Tiffin Kiwanis Club. He was also a member and Past President of the Kiwanis Manor Board. George joined the Tiffin Kiwanis Club in May 1968. He was a life member of Phi Theta Pi International Business Fraternity, where he served as an advisor for the local chapter for 24 years and was Past President and Grand Chairman of the Board of the Alumni Association. George was a charter member of the Business Booster Club of Tiffin where he was Secretary/Treasurer for 5 years. George was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher for 30 years as well as having served on various boards and committees. George had many professional memberships that included the Seneca County Fiscal Officers Association, Ohio Governmental Fiscal Officers, Job Service Employer Committee, Collegiate Employ-Net, Mid West Placement Association, College Placement Council, Ohio Employer/Career Planning and Placement Group and the Ohio Collegiate Job Fair Committee.

Donations Received Total Number of Donors Tiffin University’s lifelong learning program, LIFE@TU, offers compelling, academically oriented, non-credit programming designed for adults aged 50 plus – featuring weekly presentations on engaging topics, taught by current and retired faculty and staff members from area universities, as well as historians, “notable neighbors” with fascinating stories to tell, and experts in the field like health and law. Ten classes are offered each semester (fall and spring). With LIFE@TU, you’ll learn about history, science and technology, arts, culture, politics and more. The program is open to residents of Seneca County and the surrounding community. Classes are set in a relaxed atmosphere for the pure pleasure of learning – whether through traditional lecture with Powerpoint or video, “armchair interview” format, or expert panel discussion – and meant to transform your life through education. There are no admissions requirements, no tests and no grades. Just dive in, learn about and discuss interesting topics – and make some new friends along the way. They were the G-MAC regular season and tournament champions, posting a G-MAC record of 10-1-3. This year's NCAA regional selection marked Tiffin's ninth selection to the NCAA regional level. The regionals also saw the Dragons participating in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Both were named All Americans and helped lead Tiffin to the G-MAC regular season championship. Aniciete was named Wrestler of the Year while Coach Antonio Guerra was Coach of the Year. The Dragons also had five individual champions at the G-MAC Tournament. Tiffin was ranked as high as 3rd in the national polls and also placed 17th in team GPA nationally.

Donations Received Total Number of Donors Men’s Tennis – The Dragons earned their fifth consecutive NCAA Midwest Regional berth while also winning the G-MAC regular season championship. This is the sixth time in seven years they have won the regular season crown. The team was ranked as high as 19th nationally and had four All Conference selections. Coach Phil Conley was named Coach of the Year. Women’s Tennis – Tiffin finished 2nd in both the regular season and tournament, just missing a trip to the NCAA Midwest Regional for the fifth time. Jemimah Choi was named G-MAC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season while the team was ranked 46th in the country.

Donations Received Total Number of Donors Teresa Renae Miller, a cherished member of the Tiffin University family, passed away in October 2024. Teresa dedicated 23 years of her life to teaching, mentoring and inspiring students in her field. A passionate educator and a compassionate mentor, she leaves behind an enduring legacy of intellectual curiosity and heartfelt care. Students adored her not only for her engaging teaching style but also for the genuine interest she took in their lives and aspirations. Her office door was always open, welcoming students with a warm smile, ready to guide them academically and personally. Professor Miller's commitment to Tiffin University was part of a long-standing family tradition. Her father, Jerry Taylor, a proud TU graduate of the Class of 1972, instilled in her a deep appreciation for the institution’s values. This legacy extended through her marriage to Michael Miller, whose parents also furthered their education at Tiffin University. Together, the family exemplified a multi-generational bond with the university, embodying the spirit of loyalty, learning and service that defines the institution. Throughout her 23 years of service, Professor Miller cultivated a classroom environment where every student felt valued and empowered to succeed. Her passion for education extended beyond the syllabus; she inspired her students to see their potential and nurtured their talents with unwavering dedication. The family of Teresa R. Miller will honor her memory of the countless lives she touched, the knowledge she imparted and the vibrant legacy of dedication she leaves behind with an annual scholarship. Teresa's legacy will continue to inspire future generations of Dragons with the Teresa R. Miller '99 Endowed Scholarship. Teresa was a graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and her husband and son, Marcus, are graduates of Carey High School. This scholarship will be focused on supporting an entering freshman from Upper Sandusky or Carey who demonstrates financial need.

The men’s indoor team also had a strong showing, placing 2nd in the conference. The outdoor program was also ranked 16th nationally. The women’s indoor team also got an All American performance from Nevaeh Lewis. The women’s indoor and outdoor squads both finished 5th at the conference meet. The team finished 3rd overall in the regular season standings, with Lauren Walsh earning All G-MAC honors. Tiffin’s third-place finish was their best finish in five seasons.
